These providers mint and redeem a stablecoin under a client’s brand, manage the reserves behind it and offer custody, wallets and on- and off-ramps through APIs. Each profile records the regulated entity, its charter or licences from the regulator’s own records, the products the provider publishes and its developer documentation. How a branded token works under the GENIUS Act is explained in white label stablecoin, and the wider stack in stablecoin infrastructure. Profiles here include Paxos, Bridge, Anchorage Digital and Brale.
Questions
What is a stablecoin issuance provider? A regulated firm that mints, redeems and holds the reserves for a stablecoin that another company brands and distributes.
Which charters do these providers hold? It varies: national trust bank charters from the OCC, final or conditional, and state money transmitter licences. Each profile names the record.
Does a conditional OCC approval mean the bank is open? No. A conditional approval lets the applicant organize or convert; the bank opens only once the OCC’s conditions are met.
