How paid content is labeled on remwm, what we accept, what we refuse and what is never for sale.
Sponsored content on remwm is any piece a company pays for: a sponsored article, a press release, an enhanced provider profile or an event package. Each carries a visible “Sponsored” or “Press release” label under its headline, and every link in it that leaves the site is marked rel=“sponsored”. Paid content stays within fintech infrastructure, makes up at most 10% of what we publish and never changes our data. We are not accepting paid placements yet.
Labels
- Sponsored: a paid article, column or guide. The label appears under the headline.
- Press release: a company’s own announcement published in News. The company’s claims are attributed to it, never presented as our findings.
- Enhanced or sponsored profile: shown in the Profile type field of a provider profile.
- Featured: the only way paid inclusion can change the order of a list; the label is visible next to the entry.
We do not remove a label at a buyer’s request, and we do not sell “dofollow” links.
Who can buy
A company may buy only content about a product it is licensed or registered to offer, in the market it promotes. We check the licence or registration on the regulator’s own register before we draft anything, and we record the register link and the date. If we cannot verify it, we do not publish.
What we refuse
- Gambling and betting, including sweepstakes-style casinos.
- Consumer loan offers, payday loans and lending or “earning” apps aimed at consumers. Business software for lenders is within our topic.
- Unlicensed exchanges, brokers and signal groups.
- Investment schemes and guaranteed-return products.
- Adult content and pharmaceuticals.
- Anything that helps fake documents or receipts.
How paid content is checked
Paid pieces go through the same fact checks as editorial pieces and follow the editorial policy. Crypto and stablecoin copy carries no return promises and includes a risk warning. Errors in paid pieces are corrected and logged like any other.
Never for sale
- The sponsor-bank enforcement tracker and every enforcement status.
- Sponsor-bank profiles.
- The selection criteria of best-of lists.
- The facts in any provider profile.
