Stripe Connect
Stripe’s product for platforms and marketplaces to onboard users, take payments for them, split funds and pay out.
Stripe Connect lets software platforms and marketplaces onboard their users, accept payments on their behalf, split funds and send payouts, with onboarding available as a Stripe-hosted flow, embedded components or an API. Stripe’s acquirer disclosure names the banks behind US card acceptance, including Cross River Bank, Fifth Third Bank, Pathward and PNC, and Georgia’s banking regulator approved Stripe’s own merchant acquirer limited purpose bank, Stripe MALPB, in June 2025. Pricing is published: platforms choose between Stripe-managed pricing and platform-managed pricing at $2 per monthly active account plus payout fees.
